Basic Cycle is designed to keep everything you enter on your own device. The app has no account, no server, no cloud storage, no analytics, and no advertising. Your information never leaves your device unless you personally choose to share it (for example, by sending us a feedback email).

Cycle predictions, fertile-window estimates, ovulation estimates, and statistics are automatically generated estimates based solely on the information you enter. They may be inaccurate — especially with irregular cycles — and should not be considered medical conclusions. It remains possible to become pregnant on days outside any predicted fertile window.
You use the app and any information it displays at your own discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by the app.
Information you enter into Basic Cycle — including menstrual cycles, period days, ovulation, symptoms, moods, notes, intimacy (sexual activity), and other health-related information — may be considered sensitive personal information under certain laws.
This information remains stored only on your device and is never transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
Health-related information is used solely to provide tracking, calendar, journal, statistics, and other functionality within the app. It is never used for advertising, profiling, analytics, marketing, or sold or shared with anyone.
Basic Cycle does not use artificial intelligence or external services to analyze your health information. All calculations happen locally on your device.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), including Norway, we will respond to GDPR-related requests within 30 days as required by law, and may extend this period by an additional two months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests.
